Los Andes / Nace un Proyecto - Juna Esteban Cordero · Alma Llanera · Divano / Ameno - Era

Now 5 musics and one video:
Two of them I know will be very difficult to find on internet. The composer is Juan Esteban Cordero. He is an ecuadorian composer that died trying to safe a dog on a waterfall.
First "Los Andes". Second "Nace un Proyecto".

Third, am instrumental harp composition called "Alma llanera" (I don't know the artists).

And last, two songs form Era; first "Divano" (you can see the video here also if you want) and then "Ameno" (which video I like, so I post it down, too).

Gypsy - Lord of the Dance · Thunderstorm - Riverdance

Here come the videos:
First, from the Lord of the Dance, the song called "Gypsy", where we see the Temptress Morrighan (starring Gillian Norris) dancing. So beautiful! (I never get tired of watching her dancing)

Before that, something as astonishing as that, the "Thunderstorm" of Riverdance. Hope you enjoy both videos.

There for me - Sarah Brigthman & J. Corra · Canon - George Winston · Nirvana - El Bosco

Today I'll post three high quality songs, and two more videos.
First, the songs... here we have Sarah Brightman with José Cura, singing "There for me
". The lyrics are also posted down.

Sarah Brightman & José Cura - There for me

Sarah:
There for me, every time I've been away
Will you be there for me, thinking of me ev'ry day
Are you my destiny, words I never dared to say
Will you be there for me?

Just think of you and me, we could never toe the line
It's such a mystery just to hear you say you're mine
And while you're close to me, so close to me
Just hold me

José:
Se non sei con me, mi sembra grigia la città
Camminando solo i piccoli vedo giocar
Volti e voci del passato che non ricordavo più
Mi chiedono
[If you're not with me, the city looks gray
When I walk alone, I see children playing
Faces and voices from the past that I did not recall
They ask me]

Both:
Are you still there for me?
Forse qualche giorno poi
Il mondo capirá che non molto [può] capitar
E tu ci sei per me senti cosa dicono
[
Maybe any day then
The world will see that too little can happen
And you'll be there for me, listen what they say
]

But you're just there for me

Sarah:
And while you're close to me, so close to me
Just hold me

José:
Dimmi quanto tempo ancora resterai con me
Dimmi quante cose mi nascondi dentro te
Molti sogni abbiamo che alfin potremmo vivere
Io spero che

[Tell me how long you will be with me
Tell me the things you hide inside of you
We have so many dreams that we can live in the end
I hope that
]

Both:
You are still there for me?
Forse qualche giorno poi
Il mondo capirá che non molto [può] capitar
E tu ci sei per me senti cosa dicono

[Maybe any day then
The world will see that too little can happen
And you'll be there for me, listen what they say
]
But you're just there for me

Sarah:
There for me

José:
There for me

Sarah:
There for me

Second song for today... The Geroge Winston's Variations on the Canon (in D) by Pachbel. A beautiful piece on piano to delight everybody.

--- ····· ---
I know you have guessed I like instrumental music. Well, in fact I like music in many styles, but I think there are still few resources for instrumental music on the net yet. And there are also some pieces that will be hard to find. Now another song, now by El Bosco, called "Eternal Nirvana". I bet this song may rise your enthusiasm. I love this song.

"Although the lyrics of "Nirvana" mention God and Buddha, I think the song evokes the general idea of faith rather than religious faith. This song was featured during the final scene of the movie Millions (2004), which also had some obvious references to christianity. But "Nirvana" is a song. Regardless if it's religious or not, the music is uplifting and inspires peace and innocence. It is meant to be listened to, not analyzed. I really recommend you watch the video clip: the music is truly relaxing, and I think it's a beautiful composition by El Bosco". [taken from this site]

Let me remeber you that if you don't know how to download the embedded music in my site, I'll tell you how, just ask me.

Riverdance Show

One of my favorite shows is Riverdance, particularly "Riverdance - The New Show" (also called "Riverdance - Live from New York").

Riverdance was first performed during the interval of the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest on April 30, in a seven-minute format. On this year the first full-length show of Riverdance was presented in Dublin. There are other shows like this I like: Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames, Dancing on Dangerous Ground, Gaelforce Dance, Ragus-A Unique Irish Experience, Celtic Tiger...

Here we have some Youtube videos.

First of all, the original show, with Michael Flately (who was named one of National Geographic Society's Living Treasures in 1991 for mastery of a traditional art form). The theme is Reel Around the Sun.

Second, The New Show, with Colin Dunne (who won a total of nine World, eleven Great Britain, nine All Ireland and eight All England titles of Irish dance competitions). The theme is the same, Reel Around the Sun.

Third, Riverdance as it is nowadays, with Breándan de Gallai (who won numerous dancing awards, including National, Provisional and British Championships). Here the theme is Heartland.

This is not in order to promote the contest Michael Flately vs. Colin Dunne... in fact I agree with a comment that says: "Yes MF probably has more skill than Colin. However Colin is a much less ego-centric person and is IMHO easier and at times more enjoyable to watch."
But, I state you the question: which do you like better, MF or Colin Dunne?

--- ····· ---
Here you can downlaod the an avi version of Riverdance's first theme "Heartland", starring Michael Flately (there's also a Youtube video starring Colin Dunne, but pitifully the quality is too low).
